The Smooth Delight nectarines are firm attractive subacid nectarines for the Low to Medium chill zone. These nectarines ripen from early to mid-May through early June. These are the first subacid nectarines released for use in the Low to Medium chill zone of the southeastern United States.

Productivity: High when grown in the zone where ‘Flordaking’ and ‘TexKing’, ‘June Gold’ are grown commercially.
Size: Medium to large depending on the thinning done.
Quality: Low acid, sweet. Excellent.
Flesh: ‘Smooth Delight Two’ has Yellow flesh No tendency to brown, from split pits or crack.
Ripening season: ‘Smooth Delight Two’ ripen in early to mid May.
Chilling requirement: The chilling requirement for ‘Smooth Delight Two’ is between 350-450 chill units.
